All Colorado Officials:

Several weeks ago, Craig Graham advised me that he was stepping down as Assistant State Supervisor, so that he could concentrate on other endeavors.

I have asked Ron Groothedde to become the Assistant State Supervisor of Officiating for Colorado, and he has accepted. His appointment takes effect immediately, and he will immediately begin helping me with Finances, Seminars, and many other areas in the operation of the statewide USA Hockey Officiating program.

Recently, the Local Officiating Supervisors met for our 3rd Annual Officiating Summit, which CAHA Members Brian Irey, Turk Montepare, and Phil Paolilli also attended. As a part of that meeting, CAHA proposed creating an elected position on the CAHA Board, for a liaison to the officials. The group nominated and elected Timm Walsh as their choice for that position. I am looking forward to Timms' involvement and interaction with the CAHA Board from our Statewide Officiating perspective, and will also be counting on him for his leadership in Training and Education for all officials throughout Colorado.

I hope you will all join me in congratulating Ron on his appointment, and Timm on his election.
